Within the scope of the fight against early marriage, SOSPOL Director Cennet Ceren Çavuş and Deputy Director Murat Kaymaz visited Sazlıkbaşı village of Korkut on 16 May 2022 and organized a seminar. More than 50 women attended the event, which took place at the village's condolence house. After the event, which was organized as an awareness study about domestic violence and the damages caused by early marriage to society, Çavuş and Kaymaz made contacts with the village headman, school principal and imam. The two also visited Korkut's historical mosque, the Yünören Mosque, and met with Korkut district governor Oğuzhan Ocak at his office.
